This paper toy is Jibanyan, the ghost of a cat who died being hit by a car when crossing an intersection in Sakura New Town, from the role-playing video game Yo-Kai Watch, the papercraft is created by Gong Nag.
He has since become a residual haunting and possesses people to make them cross the street without waiting for the signal, all so he can attempt to fight the cars in revenge for his death, but he often fails.
He reveals to Keita that he was once owned by a girl he only knows as Emi-chan, but when she discovered he had died, she simply muttered "Loser", causing Jibanyan great distress. When Keita believes that Jibanyan is brave for his actions, Jibanyan is surprised and overwhelmed with joy, forming a contract with Keita.
When under Bakurobaa's spell, Jibanyan reveals he is secretly a fan of the musical group NyaKB48, owning several magazines and CDs going to the band's many handshaking events.
When Jibanyan is sent back in time, it is revealed that while alive Emi-chan named him Akamaru, and the actual reason he died is because he prevented Emi-chan's untimely death at being hit by a truck as apparently destined to be her fate at the hands of the Grim Reaper association, finally revealing Jibanyan's own memories that Emi-chan was actually calling herself a loser for having been the cause of Akamaru's death.
In the promotions for Yo-Kai Watch 2, it is revealed that you can fuse Whisper and Jibanyan together to create Buchinyan. [Source: wikipedia]
