This building paper model is the Town Hall in Wangen (Das Rathaus mit Pfaffentor, Mesnerhaus und Waaghaus in Wangen/Allgäu), created by wediul, there are H0 (1:87) and N Scale (1:160) two versions. There is also Lindauer Tor in Wangen Paper Model on the site.
The rear facade has the town hall until 1721. Since the Middle Ages it was a simpler building, as of 1611 shows the cityscape of the painter and cartographer Andreas Rauch from the opposite direction. This Cityscape is located in the old boardroom and Landttafel to around Wangen in the stairwell. The former long house at the market belonged to the reeves of Altensummerau to Praßberg and Leupolz.
The city was, when they were still part of the territory of the monastery of St. Gall, managed by a Amann (bailiff / head).
