Award winning Solo Performance of paper and object theater
Directed and performed by Yael Rasooly
The show has toured worldwide in over 20 countries and 50 festivals.
A lonely secretary escapes her dull reality by bringing to life black and white photos from old film magazines.
But as the story unravels, her romantic tale becomes a Hitchcock nightmare!
The language of black and white cinema is transformed to the“low–tech” universe of Paper Cut-outs and object theater, creating a tension that is absurd, painful and humorous.
"Paper Cut" is one of those artfully quirky solo performances that make the New York International Fringe Festival worth checking out.
The NY Times, August 23, 2011
"...when the paper-engineered aspects of production combine with Rasooly's exuberant and comically charged performance, it's rough to not get swept along with her."
