    Supplies

    1, Paper.
    2, A slotted or needle quilling tool.
    3, Stick pin
    4, Scissors
    5, Glue.
    6, Pro Circle

    To learn the basic shapes you practice with scrap strips of quilling paper.

    lengths is up to you.

    Curved Marquise: Squeeze both ends of an open coil to create a marquis shape.

    Curve each tip in opposite directions.

    Tulip: Start with the marquis.

    Push in one side with two fingers as shown, to make a point.

    Squares: Start with the marquis pinch both rounded sides to a point Open the diamond shape to reveal the square shape.

    Square with round center.

    Triangle: Make a tear drop.

    And then a 1/2 circle Pinch off the rounded top.

    Create a triangle.

    Heart: Begin with a tear drop shape.Press in the rounded part with the your tool as shown.

    Ring: Wrap strip around handle of quilling tool.Glue loose end down while still on handle.To make larger ring coil, wrap strip around larger object.

    Rectangle: Roll a Closed Coil.Pinch both sides of coil to a point (marquise).Pinch two more points approximately same distance between first two points.

    Star: starts with loose coil.

    pinch 5 sides make a star.
