Scooby-Doo - Shaggy Rogers Free Papercraft DownloadThis papercraft is the Shaggy Rogers, based on the Scooby-Doo cartoon series, the paper model was created by bongo. Shaggy Rogers is a fictional character from the American animated television series Scooby-Doo, about the adventures of four crime-solving teenagers and Shaggy's pet great dane, Scooby-Doo. Shaggy is a cowardly slacker more interested in eating than solving mysteries. He is the only Scooby-Doocharacter besides Scooby himself to appear in all iterations of the franchise.

Shaggy's distinct personality is evident in his speech pattern commonly due to his frequent use of punctuating his sentences with the word "like" and his appearance - he is lanky, has sandy hair worn in a shaggy style and a rough goatee with no mustache, and typically sports a green v-neck T-shirt and brown bell-bottom khaki pants. In The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo and early direct-to-video movies, he wore a red v-neck and blue bell-bottom jeans.

Shaggy and Scooby are readily bribed with Scooby Snacks due to their nearly insatiable appetites and have tendencies toward loafing and cowardice. They justify their hunger by saying, "Being in a constant state of terror makes us constantly hungry!". His favorite dish is "extra cheese pizza with pickles" as revealed in the TV movie Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo. Shaggy and Scooby are bribed with other things as well. In "Bedlam in the Big Top", he says he used to be in track and in "What A Night For A Knight", he says he was a gymnast both which hint at his quick evasion from villains and the reason why he is always the bait in Freddy's traps. It is mentioned in the second episode of the first season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, "A Clue for Scooby-Doo", that Shaggy's desire for bizarre food combinations comes from the fact that his first toy as a child was a garbage disposal. It was described by Fred in Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico that the reason Shaggy eats so much is because he has a high metabolism.

Shaggy has shown himself to be capable of great feats of athleticism through fear alone; however, these abilities are mainly comical in nature and Shaggy only appears capable of said feats when in a state of panic. In the 'Scooby Doo: Camp Scare', in frustration at being trapped, he shakes the iron bars of an old-fashioned jail cell so hard they collapse.

When frightened, Shaggy will utter his famous phrase of "Zoinks!" Shaggy's cowardice has been explained in the 'Legend of the Phantosaur' as a possible type of panic disorder, one temporarily fixed with hypnotherapy.

In the original Scooby-Doo series, Shaggy is born in Coolsville. When he was old enough to go to school he adopted Scooby Doo from the Knittingham Puppy Farm. Later on, he met Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley and Daphne Blake. They became friends and they decided to be a team named Mystery Inc.

In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, he is born in and is a citizen of Crystal Cove. His parents' names are Colton and Paula Rogers. He is a member of the new Mystery Incorporated.
