This pokemon papercraft is Groudon, a Ground-type legendary Pokémon, based on the anime / game Pokemon, the paper model was created by javier. Groudon is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. There are 104 parts on 11 sheets of paper. There are another Groudon Papercraft and a Groudon Cube Craft on the site.
Groudon possesses the ability to expand continents. In ancient times it came in conflict with Kyogre, a Pokémon with the ability to expand the oceans. In Pokémon Ruby and Emerald Versions, Groudon is sought after by Team Magma as a major part of their plot to create more habitats for land Pokémon by lowering the sea level.
Groudon is the version mascot of Ruby, appearing on the boxart. Along with Kyogre and Rayquaza, Groudon is a part of the weather trio.
Groudon is a massive, bipedal, dinosaur-like creature with a gray underside and covered in red, segmented plates of thick skin which act as armor. There are also spikes that run along the sides of its head, body, and tail. It has four claws on each hand, four dozer-like blades on the end of its large tail, and three claws on each foot with grey coloration under its feet. Groudon also has blue marking stripes inside the seams of its armor plating which can only be seen when Groudon is glowing with power.
Groudon is thought to have been the creator of land in the Pokémon world. It can heat up the air around it to cause static charge, enabling it to use some Electric-type moves. It can also learn SolarBeam, which can be a reliable way to fight off Water-types when combined with its constant sun. Groudon is also a natural burrower that can dig its way quickly into the land and can even bore through solid rock.
Groudon sleeps miles below the ground, and is therefore nearly impossible to find in the wild without awakening it. Groudon is a genderless species.
Slow, stoic, and heavy, this super-heavyweight created the land, according to Hoenn legend. It sleeps underground in large magma chambers, and causes volcanoes to erupt when it awakens. It is said to appear before those with shining silver spirits. If it encounters its rival Kyogre, Groudon will engage Kyogre in a fight to the death. [Source: Bulbapedia]
