Axew is a bipedal, greenish-colored Pokémon with noticeable nostrils and pale tusks protruding from the sides of its mouth. The back of its head, tipped with dark grayish-green coloration, has a horn- or spike-like, pointed and tall protrusion. Axew also has dark grayish-green coloration rimming its eyes, which have red irises. A collar-like, forest-green patterning encircles its neck; most of its body is a dull grayish green. Axew's limbs and tail are small, with its forelimbs having three digits and its feet having two digits.
Axew's main diet consists of Berries, which it crushes with its tusks before eating. With the use of their tusks, Axew mark their territory by putting gashes on trees and plants. They crush Berries with their tusks before eating them. Axew live in areas with plants. They also prefer to live in caves.
An Axew's tusks can easily regenerate at a rapid rate when broken, and will regrow if they fall out. Repeated regrowth makes their tusks sharp and strong. As shown in The Dragon Master's Path!, Axew are skilled at climbing walls. [Source: bulbapedia]
