This paper toy is the Charlie Brown, based on the comic strip Peanuts, the papercraft is designed by Toy a Day. Charlie Brown is the protagonist in the Peanuts. Charlie Brown and his creator are both the sons of barbers, but whereas Schulz’s work is described as the “most shining example of the American success story”, Charlie Brown is an example of “the great American un-success story” in that he fails in almost everything he does.
Charlie Brown is the socially awkward underdog among the local children depicted in the comic strip, but is normally happy and satisfied with life nonetheless in spite of his feckless likeliness to lose. He has made a name for himself throughout popular culture as an immensely iconic comic character, and in spite of his unpopularity with the neighborhood children with whom he frequently is seen he does have some friends and they do treat him with kindness on occasion; he commonly is accompanied by Linus van Pelt and his famous pet beagle Snoopy.
