This airplane paper model is a Neiva T-25, created by Clever Santoro. The Neiva T-25 Universal was developed by the Aeronautical Industry Neiva in the 1960s, with the task of replacing the North-American T-6 advanced education in the Brazilian Air Force Cadets.
The first prototype made its maiden flight on 04.09.66 with the prefix experimental PP-ZTW. Already in December 1967, Neiva has signed for an initial production of 150 T-25 Universal in an assembly line located in São José dos Campos. The first T-25 was delivered to Universal FAB in 1971, already quite different from the first prototype, due to military requirements.
