This papercraft is a Wheelie Bike, based on the Kirby Air Ride of the Kirby game series, the paper model is created by Poethetortoise. Wheelie Bike is the helper version of Wheelie in Kirby Super Star which Kirby could ride to become Wheelie RiderKirby.
Wheelie Bike is also a machine in Kirby Air Ride. He has a good speed, but it is hard to steer and has bad gliding.
The Wheelie Bike has the same appearance as an ordinary Wheelie; He is a large tire with an eye in the center. However, he has more to it. The top half of him is covered with a red plate acting as a seat. Sticking out of the back are exhaust pipes, two on each side. At the front of the plate a pair of handlebars protrude, which are gripped as the Wheelie Bike is ridden.
The Wheelie Bike was the first of the bike class to be unlocked. Bikes in general replace their glide stat with jump and have excellent top speeds, but poor control. This particular bike excels at offense, boost, and top speed.
Kirby Air Ride, aka Kirby's Airride in Japan, is a 2003 racing game video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube video game console starring Kirby, one of HAL's characters.
Kirby Air Ride has the players and computer-controlled racers ride on Air Ride Machines. The game supports up to four players, and was the first GameCube title to support LAN play using broadband adapters and up to four GameCube systems.
Masahiro Sakurai, the game designer behind most of the games in the Kirby series, resigned from his position at HAL Laboratory only days after giving a public interview where he openly criticized Nintendo for circumstances surrounding the development of Kirby Air Ride.
