This vehicle card model is Citroën HY bus, the scale is 1:43, The model is designed to be printed on 160 grams water resistant photo paper. Additionally some card stock is needed (0,5mm thick to reinforce the sides and wheels).
The Citroën HY was presented to the public in 1947 and build until 1981. This model with the split windscreen was build until 1964. The construction of the Citroën HY is very clever. It uses a so called omega profile and corrugated steel plates to achieve a very strong and light construction. The Citroën HY could be delivered in a lot of variations, from pickup to high volume transporter. The model presented here is the standard type.
