This papercraft is the Hitagi Senjougahara, based on the light novel / anime series Bakemonogatari, the paper toy is designed by Lili. There is another version of the Hitagi Senjougahara paper model at the site: Bakemonogatari Papercraft – Hitagi Senjougahara. Hitagi Senjougahara is a third-year student of Naoetsu Private High School. She is considered to be a weak-looking girl with an "incurable disease" and is distant towards others.
In an accidental encounter with Koyomi Araragi, her closely kept secret was exposed, and this triggers a life-changing experience. In the course of the series she receives the nickname Gahara.
Hitagi is a girl with long purple hair and blue eyes. She has a glamorous figure, although she is also considered as a "frail" girl due to her lack of participation in school activities. She wears the Naoetsu Private High School uniform the usual way while wearing black thighhighs and can be seen wearing dresses or similar clothing that cover up to her knees.
In later events, she has the sleeves of her uniform rolled up and pinned in place, turning her uniform into a sleeveless blouse.
Bakemonogatari, a portmanteau of bakemono and monogatari, is a Japanese light novel series written by Japanese novelist Nisio Isin and illustrated by Taiwanese illustrator Vofan; the series is published by Kodansha under the Kodansha Box imprint. The story centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third-year high school student who survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions, gods, ghosts, mythological beasts, and spirits. An anime adaptation by Shaft aired 12 episodes between July and September 2009, and release three more episodes online between November 2009 and June 2012. An anime film will be produced based on the prequel novel Kizumonogatari, and the sequel Nisemonogatari had a TV anime adaptation which aired from January to March 2012.
Plot: Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjōgahara, who never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. Despite being threatened by her to keep away, Koyomi offers his help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a strange middle-aged man living in an abandoned building, who cured him of being a vampire.
The series tends to introduce only one new heroine per chapter, each involved with a different "apparition." Most of them have an item which symbolises their spectres, such as Hitagi's stapler - the claw of a crab, Mayoi's back pack - the shell of a snail, Suruga's arm - the arm of a monkey, Nadeko's big hat and baggy jacket - the head and skin of a snake, and Karen's yellow suit with black stripes - the colors of a bee. The events of the previous chapters play an important role in the subsequent ones. The series primarily focuses on conversations between characters; it contains a fair number of parodies of other series, as well as Nisio Isin's trademark word play and metahumor.
